... Remember to substitute <outfile> with the full path of the output ISO image. Would that substitution be in quotes or no? as d:\outfile.iso or "d:\outfile.iso" Thanks You only need to quote if their are any spaces in the path such as: "D:\This Has A Space\So Does This\My Spaced Out.iso"

Look under structure of EasyBoot ISO:
{root}\ezboot

and you will find loader.bin, isolinux.bin among others.

EasyBoot is a nice and simple editor that allows for merging bootable CDs by allowing you to "call" each of the bootable CDs' (you merged into one) boot code. The "problem" is that EasyBoot ITSELF makes the new ISO image (so I cannot use a different software to do it since I will loose my custom bo...

Re: Exactly , How do you add things and still have an (.ISO

Ok , This is something that i have been wondering now for quite some time.. Exactly HOW..? are all of you adding things to the "UBCD.iso" that you downloaded and still winding up with a bootable ".ISO" file at the end...? What exactly would you "open" an .iso with...? Many programs - 7zip, ...

But I cannot use those tools, you see I have created a special (graphical) boot menu using easyboot, so what you say means I need to create something from scratch plus loose my graphical menu :( I'm confused. Easyboot has nothing to do with ubcd boot disk. BCDEDIT is for booting windows, ubcd is fo...

Did you compile using MKISOFS? Trt that one.
I keep getting the error with cdimage and traced down
someone else having checksum error with mkisofs with missing options.
Ultraiso also works okay.

I would like to remove the boot prompt so the CD boots to the menu automatically. How can I do this? Edit isolinux.cfg inside dir isolinux. Maybe something like this: ========= DEFAULT main ONTIMEOUT main LABEL boot KERNEL chain.c32 APPEND hd0 LABEL main KERNEL menu.c32 APPEND /menus/main.cfg =====...

Re: Image checksum error???

Hello people. UBCD4 now gives me something like this: "isolinux: image checksum error, sorry..." UBCD is NOT reporting the checksum. IOSLINUX is. If you would have googled "isolinux checksum" you will find many occurances of your problem. Here is just one case in point: http://syslinux.zytor.com/ar...

What you mean? I found the total size of the image much smaller. Probably because of INSERT. Or you mean about the checksum error? Why in the world does he need a virtual machine..? If the disk he already has dosen't boot...! The reason is, he's having trouble with the burn. Re: Image checksum error???

Hello people. I tried to make my own mix of bootcds (as I always do and worked fine), by extracting the image contents (luckily I have no folder conflicts), extracting the boot code and using easyboot to make a new image, and UBCD4 now gives me something like this: "isolinux: image checksum error, ...
