Don't trust what you see in XP

Just because you can see the folder and it looks just like a regular folder in XP does not mean that it is. If Slax and NTFS4DOS can't see the folder, that is your best clue that it is hidden or encrypted somehow. I would guess that Cyber Sentinel has a plugin running in Windows explorer that makes ...

OK, I have two computers. This one runs WindowXPsp2 and is running well. The UBCD also works in this machine. That's the base line. The other machine is having problems: Illegal instructions, GPFs, that kind of thing. I tried to do a repair install of Windows98se, then a clean install. Neither would...

More Verbosity Please

OK, so I like the UBCD. I used it to get my hard drive bootable again.
But it is confusing to use for a novice user. I see all these menus filled
with cryptic acronyms, and how am I supposed to know what they will do?
Hint: try expanding the acronyms.
