Keyboard test

Does UBCD have some sort of keyboard / scan code input identification? I was looking for a basic keyboard test for a faulty notebook. One does not appear to exist. Can I suggest this ? A utility is listed here (ScanCode Show) and here (keyscan.zip). There is also 'toets1.exe' here (note MS SE compla...

Torrent Tracker

Hello,

This is a question about UBCD distribution. I have been seeding it for months or years and now the tracker (vpslinker) has removed the torrent. Do centralized trackers exist yet?

Thank you,

Silicon

[REQUEST] DSRFix

Hello, I was working on a Dell XP computer that had the system recovery functionality damaged. It happens easily (e.g. when a user initiates FIXMBR or uses disk software). There is a utility that will look for all of the partition entries and check to see that the restore partition is in tact that i...

Post-Application Menu

After exiting ES-Tool in b11, the UBCD4Win Menu appears. The title is 5.0.b1 . Also, Memory tests are not included in the menu.

Are these by design?

The project refers to 'ultimate boot cd.' When stating 'support is nearly non-existant', it should be noted 'support by the developer is nearly non-existant.' The ultimate boot cd works as a front-end, specifically a menu system and mostly DOS-level driver and image loader. That is the entire progra...

Support of the project is nearly non-existant.

The possibility for continued development is available via open source.

The project would receive all of the updates needed and new versions would be released.

The project these forums refer to is "Ultimate Boot CD." It is confusing why anyone would think to request every project included be open source.

Victor & kof94,

Will this project ever be open source? It is an excellent tool. But it is very outdated.

At minimum a new release with newest memtest version 2 or later,
the newer seagate, wd & ibm diags,
and many other programs
warrant a new ver.

Please consider this.

I receive no errors and it is many systems. The newer versions of WD Diag work.

P.S. For anyone interested, open source is something that would help everyone move this project into production again. If anyone knows the original author or can provide an updated alternative please let us know.

WD Diag freeze

Hello, I would like to congratulate you for an great utility. You make working with PCs easy. I hope you are still on this project. If not, would you consider making it open source. A new version should be released at least for memtest and a few other programs that dont work with new rigs. My proble...
