Upon putting the ghost.bat file into the image, I now get

UBCD: Aborted
No search string

And then a prompt. It's all there, I dont understand...

I had to restart my project due to accidentally wiping my test disk... upon rebuilding everything I'm trying to run my ghost app and just before it starts I get this: UBCD: Warning! Could not set version (cd-rom disabled) UBCD: Error!!! missing ghost.bat (check cd) And then it kicks me to a prompt. ...

I meant backups of other workstations that will be bundled with Norton Ghost.

I'm trying the FAT32+NTFS multi partition as we speak, but am unsure on how Ghost is going to handle it.

I have a usb hard drive that is going to house computer images. I got my setup pretty well set but the problem is that the images are in excess of 4 GB. Is there a way I can get the HDD to boot from NTFS?

Where are the Perl scripts that are mentioned?

Still gets the same error.. its most likely from the program itself. I CAN get it to run under the msdos image, just with all the popup windows.

When i use Freedos I get an error saying it hasnt passed a compatibility check and to use msdos or pcdos...

Thats the odd part, those options are not available. My options are AUTO, MAX and Clean

I want to use MSDOS only because when trying to load a disk wiper program it gives me an error recommending I use a MSDOS or PCDOS inage.

Also, the new config.sys doesnt really show me a place to put the set commands so that I dont have to go thru the options one by one.

Since the startup.bat/config.txt has changed, how do you go about pointing to a different DOS image for a program?

All file sharing websites are blocked here. If it is too much work I'll go home and download it there.

I cant get my hands on beta5. I could only get beta4 yesterday and that was quite the stretch.

Would you be able to upload the latest version of freedos as an attachment here? I really dont have any other options to download, cant access file sharing sites at work.
