You could burn it to a DVD, or write it to a USB memory stick.

Re: 5.3.9 ubcd2usb not present in linux dir

I don't think there was ever a Linux script for "ubcd2usb":, only "ubcd2iso". The "win32" version has both.

Either 1) it was not easy to automate the process with a script, and/or 2) nobody contributed a script to do this.

Re: HDAT2 4

I still log in a few times a week to approve first posts. Unfortunately, the spambots are still as strong as ever, so we need this first line of defense to prevent the forum from being flooded with crap. But you are right in a sense. UBCD is no longer being worked on as actively as before. But a few...

Re: UEFI boot

I noted that SystemRescueCD was able to boot both UEFI and UBCD. So it seems to be possible. Did you mean both UEFI and *BIOS*? SystemRescueCD uses grub2, which lets it boot under both UEFI and legacy mode. We could do the same for UBCD, but as discussed elsewhere in the forum, there seems to be no...

Re: Add nomodeset to UBCD 5.3.6

Ok, now I'm using the blank/white issue fix menu item already in place. I saw files you are talking about but I'm asking help because I'm not so good with GRUB I am assuming you are adding "nomodeset" to the Parted Magic bootup menu? In that case, try looking at "pmagic\boot\syslinux...

Re: Add nomodeset to UBCD 5.3.6

All the UBCD config files are in text. You can always find the target config file and edit it in your custom version of UBCD.

If you using UBCD on a USB drive, you can even edit it on the spot without having to remaster the entire ISO file.

When you press the [TAB] key at the menu item, you should be able to edit the boot parameters.

Noted, though the changes seem to be restricted to the kernel and USB driver:
