You can boot your computer if you have your Windows Install CD, just choose Recovery Console. I doubt anything on the UBCD would be able to read/write to an NTFS partition, but the UBCD FreeDOS > Press enter for the first choice > Launch the UBCD Applications. If you have an XP cd, just boot using that and choose recovery console. From there you'll have to enter your Administrator password (if you dont remember setting one just try a blank password) and you'll be able to run chkdsk.exe. Just another joe: Can you post some info on how you got Clonezilla into UBCD? I'm not skilled with linux at all so when I try it does not start.

Can you try the XP cd in another computer? Or do you have another XP CD to try? You might want to check the jumper settings of the CD ROM drive and Hard Drive. Looks like you are in luck, that board has two IDE channels. Try plugging the CD ROM into the secondary IDE channel. See if it'll boot that ...

If you are using Windows Vista and receive a message saying USB drive not made bootable or missing ubcd2iso.cmd it means you have to launch the CMD as Administrator.
