OK, thanks to both of you, I'll figure it out.
Yesterday, I resorted to approximating it by doing this, though it's just a cheat:
del /pmagic/boot
del /pmagic/pmodules/*.sqfs
copy updated PM ISO to /pmagic/pmodule
edit /ubcd/menus/syslinux/main.cfg to point to it
