Don't laugh, but I had to goto wikipedia to find out what a linux distro was. :)

Hello, I ran the Salvation Scan and Restoration Program & I get the error msg "did not find a hard disk drive! Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question....but does this mean that I need a new hard drive? If so, would I be able to salvage anything from my old hard drive? My operating...

Missing/currupt file

Hello All, I just received the UBCD and my pc recognizes the cd. I have a list of choices, however, I don't know where to start. :?: My original error was " cannot start computer...yadah yada...due to missing or corrupt file \windows\system32\config\SYSTEM ". Can anyone help me get started...
