PC-problems diagnosed by me in last years, were caused by HDD (60 %), LAN card (35 %), and Sound card (5%) damage. I think, that it is a good idea to implement some NIC diagnostic apps on UBCD. Hi! I made a custom group to UBCD, (LAN / NIC setup and diagnosis). My floppy images works as well, but the Broadcom's diagnostic apps are to big, they are released as bootable CD images, 8-12 MB... Trying to load with memdisk, but my PC hangs up when booting the ISO. Does anybody has resolved this ...

I created my custom menu screens using a simple text editor...
I burned them to CD-RW, rebooted, and checked... When I discovered a mistake, rebooted, fixed, then again...

Is'nt any better way creating menus? Maybe a CDShell menu builder somewhere?

Yes, this is the only wrong thing, of course, the countdown does not working. But don't worry, I hawe created my own menu screens, whithout any variables.

UBCD 3.4: CDShell displays variables with their names, not with values on menu screens. (time counters included in strings at the bottom).
Workarround?
