I think I tried to get CD access support through freedos before when I was installing windows but found it impossible. (Not to familiar with it)

Madbootloader seemed really easy to use. Could someone make a freedos alternative? Is there one out there?

Could you span a drive image over multiple DVD/CDs in windows then copy them back to a drive later with UBCD, while using free software?
