Re: Windows XP Repair
I normally do not do this but I'm going to be a bit "rude". I have not been with these forums long enough to really have any say so but I find it offensive that you call someone trying to help you rude. Any computer owner has some responsibility as to keeping backups. Is your data backed u...

Re: BSOD after software/hardWare Change
Just curious, by any chance is there an error or stop code listed on that BSOD? Any file name listed?

Re: Help with reclaiming disk space and partitions
Don't be fooled by the name, it also works fine in XP. Download and install VistaBootPro at http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/VistaBootPRO.shtml . Once installed and running tell it to restore legacy boot loader. Also tell it to force the write to all drives. I have not used this s...

Re: Recover Windows 7
One of the biggest complaints I've heard about Win 7 image backup is that you can not do multiple images. This is just not true. Re: Recover Windows 7

Re: How to, HDD, memory broken
Personally I would just use an external hard drive enclosure and connect to the laptop.
I doubt that the drive in question being larger than the laptop drive is really an issue. What matters is how much data is on the drive, not the drive size.

Re: Blank Screen, Ultimate Boot CD will not load

Rstuff, you say the fans spin and the hard drive led comes on. Can you please answer the following? 1) OK, the drive busy light comes on but, if you listen c...

My first guess would be the video card.
