Thanks jmblack.

But actually from [free]dos in UBCD, it doesn't even recognize my HD, while from "regular" DOS, it does recognize my drive.

Very funny baronvonfoxrat  Who said anything about anyone being mean? I know what "format" is and what it does, but I was wondering if it was the same in UBCD, IF it is and if I would've followed his instructions it would've delete my files, and the point was to avoid that. A...

Can you copy ENTIRE folders from UBCD?

Or whatever functions or tools from UBCD there is, like for example; FreeDOS?

I know from regular DOS, you can't copy entire folders, just single files one by one= a pain in the ass. That is why I was wondering if UBCD has something that can bypass that restriction within a function of UBCD itself?

MAxtor, Samsung etc.? I don't get it

I have JUST installed UBC for the first time. I booted from the burned UBC cd, I came to the "usual" screen, I think I chose F2, I came to some options; Maxtor, Samsung etc. The thing is I have no idea what they do, it installs a harddrive it says? How does it do that if there is no Maxtor...
