Working fine now. Showing 2 seeds and 7 peers but only connecting to 1 peer. I'll let it go for a bit and see.

Re: What do I do after auto-nuking my hard drive?

What is your PC manufacturer and model? Did it have a recovery partition and/or do you have media (CD/DVD)? What wiping program/tool did you use? Many manufacturers don't provide media any more and will instead have a recovery partition that you would boot to and restore the system to factory settin...

Re: Suggestions for replacement of Parted Magic

I've always liked having a small distro included that could be used to back up files before running tests and especially for the ability to access the web from an infected PC. That can all be done with a separate distro on the same flash drive (YUMI has worked well for me...) @StopSpazzing - You men...

Re: Access Denied when creating bootable USB stick

Format complete.
237.8 MB total disk space.
237.8 MB are available.
You sure that's not a 256MB flash drive?

The download section shows "Server Ninjas" as having 5.2.7 but they now also have 5.2.8. Downloading at 1.3MB/sec presently.

By the picture you posted it appears your booting in a virtual machine, have you tried booting a live system? By the picture it also appears that it's having some issue with the ISO ima...

Re: Unable to add PC-Check to UBCD

It can be difficult to help when the program/tool is not freeware. It would help to know what you tried to do, the steps you used to add it to UBCD such as files added along with location and any config file edits that you made. What exactly happens when you try to boot the PC-Check ISO?

Re: Suggestions for replacement of Parted Magic

If the main goal is to have easy access to NTFS volumes, I don't think a big Linux distro is the best choice. First, the latest version of pmagic that was already included in UBCD could still be used in future UBCD releases. There is no reason to rush any such change. .......... If such distro can ...

Re: UBCD V5.2.6 is available for download

You could go back to using System Rescue CD, its running about 420MB for the ISO so the size is pretty close to PartedMagic. I don't do much with Linux as far as building/programming but would be nice to keep at least something included for recovery and such. TinyCore or CorePlus looks like it may b...

Re: [Request] Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10

At 317MB, that's a very large increase in the size of the disc. It wouldn't be a problem if using a DVD or USB drive but definitely would no longer fit on a CD. You could try adding it to UBCD yourself or adding to a multiboot USB or similar. I use it (Kav_rescue) on a multiboot USB drive which I cr...

Re: Windows 7 & 8

Your looking for information on UBCD4Win I believe. That can be found at www.ubcd4win.com but the forum has been down for some time now. UBCD4Win does not support Win 7 or 8 as a base but you could try one of the PE creation tools out such as winbuilder. Others will have more information on that as ...

When I saw the b in the file name I thought maybe a new beta. You could use an "R" instead of the "B" in the naming. That would be a revision or release instead of looking like beta.

Re: UBCD V5.2.0 available for download

FUSA is directing to ubcd503.iso. I just opened the link in a new tab and changed the 503 to 520. I had tried a couple times to dlownload the Alphas/Betas but could not get a complete ISO, usually download was stopping after 50-100MB. OK, FUSA was a slow download (75-200KB/S) so moved to AusGamers (...

Re: Which file/s to burn from extracted .zip folder?

The ubcd511.iso file needs to be written to a CD. Not as a files but as an image. I use ImgBurn for this. --> http://www.imgburn.com/
