If you can't find the program on the CD, either it is stored in a floppy image (which itself may be compressed), or you just didn't search well enough.
And I don't see the point with your weird poll.

Well if you wipe out your HDD you won't have a blue screen anymore, but you just won't have anything left but hardware ^^

Guess it would be better if you could tell us what's written on that blue screen so we can help you troubleshoot and maybe solve the problem xD

To save your system, you should look into the Partition Tools, such as Partition Saving.
Don't remember for sure if UBCD includes CD burning software, though (CDRTools ?)

Just what do you call a patch ?
Updating something by yourself ? --> Guess it should be somewhere around the "Tutorials & How-Tos" section.
Apply one of the official xdelta patches ? --> Well there's not much to say about it, you should see the syntax on the download page itself...

Then unless you made it yourself (and it's obvious you didn't), it was illegal since it contained copyrighted commercial software. And you're not gonna get any help about this on this forum.

I guess you should attempt to fix the registry from recovery console, since the problem is probably there, at least if that's not some overheating problem...

Hello and welcome :D Here's how I'd do it : - install a virtual drive (Daemon Tools, VirtualCloneDrive, etc ... whichever you prefer... that can always be useful even though you can do it without) - mount the ISO to that drive - copy / paste all the contents of the virtual drive to a dedicated direc...

Well if you could boot UBCD on it (and if it was not the USB version), I don't see the point in copying the Windows install files to the hdd for install ... since you may boot from the Windows CD and run the setup from here, now that you've formatted the hdd (it should not come up with any other err...

Not sure to understand what you mean ... the XP CD-ROM is bootable by itself, and CDs don't use NTFS filesystem, so I don't see the point in loading some NTFS driver...

As far as I know, it doesn't show them, only allows to overwrite / blank it.
(So at least, if you change a user's password, they will notice, it's not a hacking tool that lets you know someone else's password without leaving any trace about it.)

Can also re-enable a locked/disabled account.

A way to show it's a customized version ?

Hello there ^^ So, since I finally got myself into the process of customizing/updating a bit the UBCD for my personal use, I'd like to know if there is a way to show in the menus it's my customized version ? Of course I don't want to remove the original text with the version and link to the official...

Hello there ^^

Just wanted to say I used it successfully with Partition Magic 6 floppies, I guess it should be good with any version that uses 2 floppies.

(For personal convenience I just renamed the output image file, the reference to it in the custom.cfg file and the label, of course ^^ )

Well, for a quick overview, I'd say use UBCD4Win and run Everest.
For what is about testing, still no idea of how to really test everything fast.
