Re: Explorer's modification of CPUstress image
I have an updated kernel for CPUstress:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/701 ... 3.10.5.tar
MD5: 123354d6567a0288b090e4687c5465ac
SHA1: e0455c0165d764d82ea90ffd39be8edf042bce14
Because this is only a kernel update, I don't want to make a new CPUstress release just for it.

Re: [Request] Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10
I just did an experiment to the rescue disk. It seems that the disk is based on a Gentoo LiveCD. Now this gives me an idea: is it possible to convert this rescue disk into a PMagic module? I know this will be a difficult task and it might be against Kaspersky's license, so I won't do this.

@jhorak101 It seems that you're new to this forums, so: 1. Please don't make multiple posts for your questions. Some people will think this is impolite. If you're asking several questions at once, you should try editing your last post to include all your questions. 2. Winzip can open read most of th...

Parted Magic 2013_06_14 is released, and I hope ady can test his pm2ubcd script with this version of PMagic. And one more thing. I should have noticed this before but I didn't. In ubcd/menus/syslinux/pmagic2.txt To find out the available devices/partitions, launch Mount Devices in the taskbar and st...

Re: pm2ubcd script discussion
Regarding the PMagic version number in "main.cfg", I think it is good to display a warning that "you have to change it manually" in the script. When I helped ady making the pm2ubcd script, I added a variable (PMAGIC_VERSION) that displays the PMagic version, just for this purpose...

Re: pm2ubcd script discussion
Curious, why not just have one script connect to the other script? So after merge, have option to choose one of the other commandline/shell scripts to, for instance, run ubcd2iso with the parameters that were added? This will increase coupling between two scripts, and decrease modularity. I disagre...

Re: LZMA data is corrupt -- System halted
You better verify the checksum of the UBCD first before making a report here. Your problem sounds like you have a corrupt UBCD ISO image.

I believe this problem is already fixed upstream. At least my test result in pmagic_2013_05_01_i586 is fine. Re: Blue border in UBCD grub4dos menu
I bring a good news for everyone. A few days before, I filed a feature request to the Grub4dos developers about supporting color names in the new syntax. Well, they made it recently in the new version (grub4dos-0.4.5c-2013-05-14). This means that I can change the numeric value syntax: color standard...

Re: pm2ubcd script discussion
[T]here is no method to prevent someone from modifying the cmd script as if it were independent of the sh script (and they are not 100% independent). And that's the potential (future) problem. It would be enough with very simple changes to the cmd script, and the backslash could be back. [......] S...

Re: pm2ubcd script discussion
Finally, I partially "moved" the code to handle "backslash characters in paths" into the cmd script. I left this sed code in the sh script, just in case (for some reason) some backslash character gets to that point in the code, which could potentially change the resulting paths....
