Help!! How to boot iso or win pe in ubcd v4???
I just downloaded a trial of paragon total defrag 2007, it says it has the ability to defrag from cd/dvd. So I was thinking this would be a great addition to my ubcd compilation I just made. The only problem is I don't know where to start. When I open up the iso it created there is: i386 folder imag...

corrections to victor's fine work
I wasn't able to get it booting either, so I played around a little before giving up and pasting code for code what was in isolinux.cfg in sys... dir and changed to include same folders as victor's tutorial APPEND root=/dev/ram0 initrd=/custom/rescuecd.igz init=/linuxrc vga=791 looptype=squashfs loo...

insert
well. I agree that it would prob be easier to not include any linux distro in future releases. Especially since the linux geeks preference on live cds depends on his/her use of tools, interface, size, etc... I would be willing to do a small write up on howto include newest slax and geexbox if it wil...

ubcd v3.5 (or higher) and replacing INSERT
I am glad to hear of the development of ubcd and hope to see the release of 3.5 soon. It's a great cd and I always keep it in my backpack or with me to friends houses when their computers go down the toilet. I'd like to make a humble suggestion though, if I may. I suggest that insert be replaced if ...

weird stuff
Thanks for your help victor, Long story short I found out that I was mostly to blame... I had deleted all docs, license and ubcd folders from the cd to save space and sanity trying to keep track of all folders... But after I deleted \ubcd It stopped ALL bootdisks using the same ubcdcmd method from w...

msubcd.img
I downloaded that file off his site and then simply copied it to /images/, I then used the same command as previous and booted into ms dos 7.1 fine... but again it did not "load" my startup.bat file or start ntfspro.exe. Also I tried using your freedos image to boot into and got similar re...

How Do you create a M$Dos UBCD compatible "expert"
I've downloaded a bootdisk of msdos v6.22 off the net with cdrom drivers off the net... works perfectly by itself through memdisk but I want to be able to use it by ubcd's expert mode and add my own programs like ntfspro, and a few compression tools, ntfspro, etc... I renamed the file to msubcd.img ...

sucess with frenzy
I was able to get it working with frenzy, McStarfighter. fortunately the files in frenzy and ubcd (+/- a few added/deleted by myself) did not conflict at all or make the filestructure way too confusing. unfortunately not the way I intended but noneless working fine.. I just had to extract the frenzy...

I'm looking to intergrate FreeSBIE h**p://www.freesbie.org/ because freebsd is the only flavor I've tried.
How about you? how far have you gotten in your ubcd/bsd cd?

has anybody been able to get a bsd livecd working with ubcd?
I've been trying to create a multiboot with erd commander, dsl and bsdlive... but I haven't been able to get the bsd live cd working. I've extracted the bootable sector on the iso and edited it in hex to make the path of the loader program to /BSD/boot/.. instead of default /boot/..x , and extracted...

rip bsd/linux and live rescue cd
first, I'd like to see the FULL version of rip included or another bsd recovery live cd for those who use bsd. Secondly I'd like to see a little tweaking to allow those of use who want to use another live cd like slax. I had alot of issues trying to replace insert and finally gave up. Or perhaps.......
