I know of many utilities, Icecube (it's merely a question of prioritising tasks atm). For instance, I really need to write up an instruction manaul for NwDsk to allow users to refer to customisation options available etc. A section on emulators is definitely a good idea (maybe include a list of comm...

Isolinux still only supports 8.3 filenames.

Ext2/Ext3/NTFS support

Just an update... The next release should be following shortly (alongside native MS-DOS support). I've also been experimenting with an Ext2/Ext3/NTFS driver by Paragon (IFS for DOS). Below are some of the results... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/2863267602_e20e0f45e6_o.gif Memory usage statist...

Right-click on Track 1 and select "Find missing files and folders". Once the scan is finished, you should be able to find the necessary files.

You'll need IsoBuster to extract the necessary files.

Re: Adding *both* Acronis True Image & Disk Director to

Increase your ramdisk. The below set-up should work. LABEL DD10 MENU LABEL Acronis Disk Director 10 Full KERNEL /custom/acronis/DD10/kernel.dat APPEND vga=788 mbrcrcs=on load_ramdisk=1 prompt_ramdisk=0 ramdisk_size=32000 initrd=/custom/acronis/DD10/ramdisk.dat /S LABEL TI11 MENU LABEL Acronis True I...

How did you wipe the XP partition? You'd only be able to natively access the volume provided it was formatted as FAT16/32. However, you shouldn't need UBCD if all you want is to re-install XP; simply insert your XP installation CD into your CD/DVD-drive and boot. Edit: I suspect what you want is a C...

I managed to get it working with ms-dos successfully; I had to adapt UBCD.BAT and RUNAPP.BAT in order to do so whilst retaining compatibility with FreeDOS. I still need to adjust a couple of modules in readiness for the next update but I aim to get it out the door within the next day or so.

I don't like floppy images which are greater than 2.88MB. You can't test them in a virtual machine (using the image file as floppy disk). Test them in isolinux. Maybe WinImage can handle large floppies, but you can try it only for 30 days, after which you should pay for it. There are other programs...

I was going to send you a PM, but I may as well address your question(s) here... It is possible to make a hard disk image of the FreeDOS image, so you can include as many programs as you want (size limit = amount of RAM). Not keen on this. Eventually, I want users to be able to download the update a...

We could. Maybe a standalone 5.76Mb image... At the main isolinux menu we could have... "Launch DOS Environment..." expands to submenu "FreeDOS" "FreeDOS w/ Network Support" something like that(?). The point being is there's enough space to squeeze ~50 NIC drivers on th...

Still gets the same error.. its most likely from the program itself. I CAN get it to run under the msdos image, just with all the popup windows. Yeah, I'm only updating FreeDOS at the moment (as mentioned, I'm not familiar with the MS-DOS disk you're referring to). I will be incorporating support f...

Hmm...I'll try and get an MS-DOS version on-line (it will take a while though). Also, the new config.sys doesnt really show me a place to put the set commands so that I dont have to go thru the options one by one. Yeah, it doesn't work like that (-: Simply delete anything found in /level1/ or /level...
