Read Write is there a problem?

I was reading how you said that UBCD does not have read and write permissions on NTFS partitions then I realised you have antiviruses installed and hard repair utilities and partioning utilites on UBCD. I have not used UBCD yet but I was planning on using it for hard drive diagnostics and repairs and for virus scanning and cleaning. Are you saying that UBCD will not clean or delete viruses only the UBCD4Win will? Also how can it repair NTFS hard disks if it cannot read write? Am I missing something here? What's the point in putting antivirus software and hard disk tools on UBCD if it is useless on ntfs drives. I really don't think people will be using fat32 drives these days.

For accessing NTFS volumes, you should boot into Parted Magic and use that instead.

However, for accessing HDDs at the device or partition level, the DOS apps on UBCD are still quite useful.
