 Post subject: How to use UBCD

burned disc from http://en.kioskea.net/download/download ... te-boot-cd

put in computer which won't boot, got this screen

Mainboard Tools
Hard Disk Tools
Filesystem Tools
Other Tools
User-defined Tools
DOS/Linux Boot Disks
*Boot First Hard Disk
*Boot Second Hard Disk

tried *Boot First Hard Disk, no luck, went to Windows screen for a while, now black

The system booted to the menu so that's a good sign. If you navigate through the menu entries you can test various hardware items on your system such as mainboard, hard disc, etc.

The real question is ---> What problem(s) are you having and are trying to fix?

Please provide as much information as possible so you can get the most accurate answer.
