What's the correct way to set this up in the custom folder? It never seems to boot properly for me.

Easiest solution: use SARDU.

Followed the directions after making a bootable USB but get the following on the screenshot.

Those directions are the ones I followed, and results in what I get in the screenshot.

Few Issues I hit. Make sure you put the file liveusb at the root of the drive as well as the folder rescue.

Code: Select all

x:\liveusb
x:\rescue\
I still placed and renamed the file just like the OP did.
F:\ubcd\custom\kaspersky.cfg

A small hickup I had was I did not read the CUSTOME.CFG setup correctly and it caused it to boot incorrectly. So verify that. I used...

Code: Select all

LABEL -
# Your own boot image here
MENU LABEL Kaspersky Rescue Disc 10
TEXT HELP
# Your help message goes here.
Dennis Technology Labs rated Kaspersky @ 99% Total Accuracy.
ENDTEXT
#COM32 linux.c32 memdisk
CONFIG /ubcd/custom/kaspersky.cfg
