Issues booting to freshly made disc

#1 Post by KireiX » Mon May 12, 2014 11:17 am

I've followed all the provided instructions to be able to get a working disc but am still having problems...

Downloaded ISO
burnt to disc using Active@ISO Burner on the slowest available speed 10X
Verified cd does indeed have the following data/structure after burning
c:\ubcd-extracted\
boot\
pmagic\
ubcd\
autorun.inf
license.txt
tried booting to the disc using two different machines and get the same results (see below)

ISOLINUX 4.07 2013-07-25 ETCD Copyright (C) 1994-2013 H. Peter Anvin et al

Based on what I've read it seemed like I should be able to burn the ISO to disc, boot to it and get the menu shown as the first image here: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html

What am I missing :( ??

It seems you have first extracted the original ISO image before burning "something" to the optical media.

Have you tried burning the original UBCD ISO image?

Have you tried using 4x burning speed? Other optical media brand?

Any chance you could try booting UBCD with a USB flash drive instead?
