Thanks for the quick reply!
I burnt another disk with Image Burn, but got the same results.
To be precise, here is what I get:
Code:
CD-ROM Priority . . Boot Ready
CD-ROM Priority . . No Medium
The last time I tried it, the second line briefly flashed "CD-ROM Priority . . 35" before switching to "No Medium".
I tried it with another supposedly bootable disk and got the same thing, so maybe it's a problem with my BIOS or hardware?
Also, this is a 64-bit system. Does that make a difference?
No, wouldn't make a difference, as your cpu can run 32bit and 64bit, has nothing to do with your operating system being 64bit.
I would try to redownload the ISO, and checksum verify it to confirm its a proper download then try burning again. If that fails, would check for bios updates and cd/dvd drive updates, but be warned, follow the instructions they give you as you could make your drive or motherboard unbootable if done improperly.
You could also try to make sure your bios is setup properly to boot the cdrom drive. If you have more than 1 cd/dvd drive you need to make sure both are set to boot before the HDD. Maybe your drive you are using isnt the drive that is set to boot up first?
