Need help with wiping my hard drive,V5

I need a tutorial on how to completely wipe my hard drive clean, there is only v4 on youtube and else where so could someone help me :D

Boot with UBCD 5.1, select the HDD -> wiping category, and then choose the tool you want to use to wipe you HDD. All the data in your HDD will be erased.

You can use DBaN, "Darik's Boot and Nuke" or what I usually do is use the drive manufacturer's utility (diagnostics) and write zeros to the drive (zero fill).

If you have multiple drives, be careful using DBaN as you could inadvertently wipe all drives on the system.

For more accurate information, provide system specs (Drive manufacturer, IDE/SATA, etc) and what version of UBCD you are using.

Parted Magic has also a list of tools to wipe the hard drive. It can execute the secure erase command of the hard drive, which is considered the most secure way to wipe a hard disk and also one of the fastest.
