Ultimate Boot CD

There are a lot of tools that I've never even booted into on my copy of UBCD. Today it occurred to me (while searching the list of hard drive tools), that there isn't an overview of all the tools somewhere. I'm thinking of starting with a list on the UBCD homepage and then following all the links and writing maybe a paragraph each. What about crowd sourcing the descriptions on the wiki?

Once we have a paragraph or two about each tool, we could dump that into a text file and included it on the master image. Either that or make it available as an add-on.

Or is there something like that already?

Have you read the homepage of UBCD at http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/? The list there is not complete, but I'd think it is enough for most users.

In addition, there is the wiki at http://wiki.ultimatebootcd.com/index.php?title=Tools.

Yes. If you re-read my original post (with speed-read mentally de-selected) you'll see I did find the list on the main page, and I found it lacking.

Now we're talking. I did know about the wiki, but did not know about the "tools" page. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
