Laptop HDD help

#1 Post by notever » Wed May 27, 2009 6:19 am

I have been unable to access the hard drive on my laptop no matter what I do. Couldn't even get access to the BIOS so I have removed it and bought a USB to IDE cable which I have connected to the usb port on my desktop. The drive gets recognised but shows nothing. I have booted my desktop pc with the UBCD but am stuck of what to do next. I tried to use the TestDisk facility but got nowhere can anyone help me get access to my data on this laptop hard drive
Cheers
