UBCD Won't Boot In Win2K OS

#1 Post by HajiYaqub » Mon May 05, 2008 12:45 pm

I purchased the UBCD, which was stuck on a UB magazine, in a book store. I took it home, inserted it into my CD drive, which has the XP operating system and everything worked very well. I took the UBCD out of the XP system and inserted it into another computer running Windows 2K. My Win 2K system is the one that won't boot up and I thought that this UBCD would help me fix it. I inserted the UBCD into the CD drive and it spins with lights glowing and then stops. A message says "insert disk in drive D", which is my CD drive. I must have restarted this process 20 times. I checked the CD drive by putting another CD in it and it works just find. So I don't think its the CD drive. Can anyone help me out here. I would be very appreciative.
