floppy image mounting error

#1 Post by dtumacder » Tue May 27, 2008 11:04 am

Greetings,

I am using the latest distro of UBCD 4.1.1, I inherited a custom version from my predecessor and I am now upgrading it from 3.4 o 4.1.1. It seems simple enough, the only issue I am running into is as follows.

I have ghost (it IS a licensed version and legal) on there as a floppy image. It seems to work fine with UBCD 3.4 but there are compatibility issues with this version of UBCD and the new computers I wish to image, hense the reason why I'm upgrading the version. I saw note of a bug with the older version and it being not compatible with some hardware setups.

I compiled the iso with the appropriate customizations (ghost is using a 2.88 floppy image) and when I boot up I get the proper menus. I am hitting a snaffu for lack of a better term when memdisk tries to load the ghost image. here is the output I recieve.

when this is done it boots up normally, old OS. I checked to see if the tracks, heads and sectors were inputed correctly and they seem to be. Has anyone run into this or can anyone help with what seems to be the issue?
