Invalid Op Code

I've been trying to use the partition utilities on the CD and I keep getting an error message.....

Invalid Opcode at 8D28 9E80 0212 A4F0 9E80 00D7 9E84 1B80 0000 061C 0000 4000 0000

I try one of the harddrive utilities and it sees the drive. I oringinally thought that it was having trouble seeing the SATA drive.

Can anyone give a suggestion as to where to go next?

Maybe it is due the sata drive. All programs that use freedos will display probably the invalid opcode error.
