I have a question, it doesn't concern UBCD but I was hoping to get some further insite! My computer recently got nailed by a virus (Trogan), and I had to completely reformat the hard drive and start from scratch! Now here is the problem that I am having!
Dell Diminsion 2.0ghz
XP Proffessional (Before the crash I had XP Home)
768 megs Rambus DDR Ram 800mhz
GeForce 4 64meg DDR vid card
40 gig Seagate HD & 250 gig Western Digital HD
CDRW Drive 48X (can't remember the brand)
Plextor DVDR Drive 12x (its a 712 something model?)
Ok the OS is on the 40 gig drive always has been, the 250 I installed when I installed the DVDR. Before the crash whenever I used my CDR or DVDR drive to burn something it only took about 30 minutes on average, depending on what I was doing! But NOW after the format and reinstall, it takes an averge of an Hour to an Hour and a half to burn anything that will fill the disk! I don't understand this HUGE drop in performance!!!!!! Any Ideals???? Please help if you can or ask if you need more info. And thank you all!
