Removing Linux and Installing Xp

#1 Post by ionghlan » Sat Oct 11, 2008 2:43 pm

Hi folks,

My problem is; i bought a laptop few days ago and it has Opensuse 11.0. I want to remove it and install windows xp. I tried to do it with my bootable windows xp cd, but it kept giving me an annoying blue screen. I think it's an mbr related issue. Could you guys please tell me how can i delete linux and fix the mbr with the ubcd, step by step? (while keeping in my mind that i'm a noob? :) )

Ok, i managed to fix this. I messed with sata settings from bios and it didn't give me any blue screens.
