List of File folders for progs and utils

Although I am a new member of the forums, I discovered UBCD in Oct 06. At that time it was v3.4. The disk that I have is looks like a normal Windows Explorer page with a list of File folders that contain the various progs and utilities. This CD does boot up into UBCD.
On you main page, you state once you download the exe and extract it to my hard disk, then I get a UBCD411.iso file. I have done this and am about to do this now. I don't remember having to do this with the earlier 3.4 version.
So, my question why is the new version not like that? Or have I just forgotten that I got it as an ISO and burnt the cd from there?
