On an old P3 machine that I keep for some legacy s/w I need I have Win98SE on one hard drive and XUBUNTU on another (shows as D drive under Win98).
To boot XUBUNTU I have to disconnect the Win98 HD and then reconnect it when I want to boot Win98 - this is a pain.
I was hoping the *Boot Second Hard Drive option of UBCD would ease the pain - it doesn't.
It comes up -
Cannot read Master Boot Record
boot:
and then if left to ponder its options it chooses Win98.
I'm a Linux newbie - am I missing a piece of Linux magic or am I expecting too much from UBCD?
*Boot Second Hard Disk fails
