UBCD for Vista

Hi all,
I forgot a password on my second laptop and need to get into it. The OS on it is Vista. Ive used UBCD succesfully on XP machines but it wont boot into my Vista lappy.
All I see is light blue screen and mouse curser (which I can move) and it just sits there. It sat like that for 30 mins before I turned it off... too short?
How can I get into Vista??
