I need serious help fixing MBR!

#1 Post by IneedtofixmyMBR » Mon Apr 06, 2009 6:01 pm

So I was installing Debian in Dual-Boot with a Win32 Loader and somewhere along the install it glitched on me and wouldn't let me continue, it said I needed to install the core system step before I can continue, but I had done that, many times. So I rebooted since thats the only thing I was left to do. When I came back I got "Error Loading Operating System". So I tried getting my Windows XP CD sitting next to my computer and I found out all my CD's where stolen, gone. So i'm screwed. Someone recommened I use UBCD to fix my MBR but I have no clue how to. I burned UBCD to a CD and its booted up in my computer right as I type this so can someone give me instructions, I really need it, thanks.

Try the Testdisk program on UBCD.
