Ultimate Boot CD

Hi guys im trying to use ubcd 4 on my compaq presario c700 notebook i cant access my hard drive. I think my hdd is locked i cant boot my os can anyone please help me im using windows vista i cant even access my back up

Have you tried booting into Parted Magic and seeing if the drive is detected and accessable? That's what I would recommend for you at this point.
