i have a fairly newer computer and it does not have the ps2 mouse/keyboard ports. All available are usb. Is there any way I can work this program and be able to select anything in the menu? I am running Windows XP and have UBCD V4.1.1 Thanks for any help. Really having trouble trying to get my computer fixed.

Enable USB legacy support in the BIOS.
Also try the last beta of UBCD50. It has a newer syslinux (isolinux) version that should work around some USB keyboard problems.

Wouldn't it just be easier to change the ONTIMEOUT command in isolinux.cfg file to "main"? (Other changes could also be made, but this seems easiest!)

You WILL have to re-create your .iso file and burn a new CD, of course <g>

Then the UBCD would boot automatically...

UBCD50 will go straight to the menu, but if you can't use the USB keyboard, you still have a problem because you can't run any program if you can't navigate trough the menu.
