Im new here but i have a good idea of how things work.

But the problem i am having is:

I burned one copy of UBCD to a CD-R and explored it, copied the files into another folder and added some more things to the disc. Now im stuck with what to do! So i use Magic ISO to create the iso again from the files from the original disc + more. I put them in and it doesnt say 'Bootable' apparently i need a boot image file to load. So i need that file.

Overall, where can i get the 'boot image file'

I have one CD-R left.

Is it the ISO i remade or a seperate file...

Sorry for my 'newbieness'

Awaiting your replies

Ben

You need to unpack the iso to a folder and make the changes to the files in this directory, then run the ubcd2iso script.

Unpack the UBCD iso with 7-zip to a directory (e.g.: C:\UBCD or D:\whatever\folder\that\you\want).
http://7-zip.org/

Also you can test the iso that you create, in a virtual machine like VirtualBox or qemu:
- VirtualBox: http://www.virtualbox.org/
- Qemu (for Windows): http://homepage3.nifty.com/takeda-toshiya/
Testing the iso in a virtual machine can save you a lot of CD-Rs.
