** Please help!! Need to disable safe boot but can't log on

Hi, I bought this cd off of eBay and was promised to be able to recover my computer. However the menu is unclear and I haven't got any ideas what to do. Basically in msconfig, I checked the box saying "start in safe mode" and restarted. But safe mode does not work and I cannot get into my computer. There is now an endless cycle of reboots no matter what option I choose. Does anyone know how to reset the boot file? I have a packard bell computer approx 6 years old.

Thanks very much!

Well first off, UBCD is FREE and with proper knowledge can be used to repair majority of computer issues. Have you tried pressing F8 on computer boot before windows login screen and start computer normally?

Maybe the disc messed with some files and caused problems with your windows install. If you cannot press F8 to boot into windows then you will have to do a windows repair using the windows cd.
