It was all going so well...

Right so I decided to get myself a hackintosh running so I freed up 30 gig on my xp partition, partitioned it with partition magic, rebooted all fine.

Installed mac osx install went o.k, reboot

"invalid system disk" error

Downloaded UBCD and booted into windows from that, works fine so the partition is o.k

Backed up my mbr then ran fixmbr from windows recovery console. Didn't work.

Did the same thing from UBCD, didn't work same error.

So scratching my head a bit, don't want to play about any more without some advice.

So here's the deal got a primary partition from the start of the disk with winxp, then an extended partition containing a single partition with mac osx in.

Any ideas?

Ideally I'd like to have a menu with the option to choose either xp or mac at boot, but I don't know the best way to accomplish it, any help appreciated.
