How to Add PC Doctor 4 DOS?

Greetings.
IBM/Lenovo has a PC Doctor 4 DOS utility.

The following is supposed to run from 2 floppies»
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-54659

The following creates a bootable CD»
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-56222

I am really not sure how I/one could add either of these
to the UBCDos 4.11 under User Items menu.

Possibly someone might reply/advise?

I also rolled PartedMagic 3.7 into UBCDos 4.11 but receive the error message»
Vesamenu.c32 not found
However, PM then says to run ForceVideo,
which then loads PM fine when the/a proper driver is selected.
I would still like to hear/know how to properly roll PM 3.7 or PM 4.8 into UBCDos 4.11

I could of course simply run PCDr from its own CD and
do already run PM4.8 from multiboot BartPE USB stick.

Any helpful replies/insights appreciated.
Thank you.
Regards,

This is because you don't have vesamenu.c32 (or the config of Parted Magic is pointing to a path for vesamenu.c32 that doesn't exist in your setup).

You can try to boot the iso of IBM/Lenovo has a PC Doctor 4 DOS utility with MEMDISK of Syslinux 3.84:
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/

Rename the new MEMDISK to memd384 and place it in /syslinux and /isolinux.

Add to /custom/custom.cfg:

Code: Select all

LABEL PCDoctor
KERNEL memd384
APPEND iso raw initrd=PCDoctor.iso
The ISO doesn't work for me in VirtualBox and qemu, so I can't test.
