I installed SP2 on a Windows XP Pro system and wound up with a Stop: 0x00000024 blue screen. It won't even boot in Safe Mode. After trying to use Recovery Console with no luck I've determined that it's a losing battle and I just need to get some data off the drive before re-installing the operating system.
Here's my issue. The files I need to recover are larger than what will fit on a floppy disk. I have successfully accessed the NTFS partition using the ReadNTFS utility on UBCD and was able to copy a small file to a floppy. Is there any way to get NTFS access along with network access? We have both MS and Netware servers on our network.
Thanks.

For read-only access, I have had success with INSERT. See:

You can hook up a 2nd HDD and copy the files over.

Since the system he's having trouble with was due to
an XP SP2 failure, Captive may not work. Some have
had difficulty with SP2 files in Captive.
