Try enabling USB support when booting up FreeDOS, and if you are able to get
some kind of USB storage device mounted, you will be able to copy files over.

If you are comfortable with Linux, you should definitely try INSERT too.

thanks, thats what i was originally thinking. Like use a memory stick, or a usb hard drive.

ok noob mode. So if i can get a recognized connection through a usb device, then there is a program on the cd that will allow me to copy it?

sorry for asking but i got a similar response elsewhere that said i should make a lan connection and then learn the codes in DOS to move the files over. which is alot of work.

Your suggestion sounds much easier though.

You can use one of the included file managers (eg. type VC at the FreeDOS
command prompt, or launch one of the tools in "File Tools" under 2nd screen of
[Filesystem Tools]) to copy. Most of them looks like the old two-pane Norton
Commander, so it should be very easy to use.
