SATA drivers

#1 Post by kaz » Wed Jan 11, 2006 7:02 am

Hello,

I need to boot PC with two SATA hard drives after changing the motherboard. Filesystem is fat32.
I am not sure if my SATA drivers are included on your CD (sorry cannot find the driver list on the site).
I have the manufacturers floppy with the drivers though. What is the way to include the drivers into the CD.
Those are NvRaid draivers: nvraid.sys and nvatabus.sys

Thank you for help

From what I understand, general DOS apps do not need SATA drivers, since they are supported by the BIOS.

Low-level HDD apps may have problems accessing SATA drives, since they bypass the BIOS. Your best bet here is to rely on utils provided by the HDD manufacturer themselves.
