Whe I downloaded UBCD, I thought that with many apps inside it could help you to solve many problems with your comp with Windows OS!
How I was suprised, when I found IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Really, I tried some simple things like scan with antivirus(see here: viewtopic.php?t=548) or delete some file in windows\system32 folder which was trojan, etc.

Nothing of this was possible and I think these processes are the main things which causes problem on your PC!

So can somebody really tell me what is UBCD for? To test memory or cpu?
It can do windows apps as well and u don't need DOS for it!

Thanks for advice and to understand: I'm not upset, I'm just suprised!

UBCD is for DOS based utilities such as diagnostic tools and other system utilities.

UBCD4Win is a live disk that boots a Mini XP environment.

UBCD can read but not alter NTFS partitions of which XP is on. NTFS4Dos can if you buy it and put it on. The free version can only read the disk.

I personally find this disk to be of such a value that I do not know how I could fix anything without it at all.
