How to boot g4u V2.2?

I am having some trouble integrating g4u V2.2 into the next release of UBCD.

Basically, the latest version is no longer using the 2.88MB format available in V2.1. The floppy version is now *gasp* a 3-disk set!

If anyone has any insight into how to do this, I may have to keep the old V2.1 for UBCD V3.5.

Hmm I don't know precisely what it is about and what the files look like but ... did you try compressing them to an SFX archive on a bootable floppy image that would create a virtual drive (like they did with the standard Win98 EBD) ?

Dunno if that could be compressed enough though :/

Why don't you use the ISO image? That seems easier than trying to combine three disk images. I can load the 'boot' file, extracted from the ISO, via bcdw, but VMWare reports a stack error (may or may not work on real hardware). Loading the whole ISO via diskemu works on VMWare.

Thanks! I tried diskemu the other day, but somehow couldn't get it working.

But tried again this morning, and it works like a charm on both vmware and qemu.
