I have had a good look at stickies and posts back to about April but can't find anything which could help me change what I THINK is the FreeDOS startup - where it gives you 3 seconds to choose things like:
1. US or other keyboard
2. USB or not
3. NTFS or not
4. lots of others that flash by too quickly for me to remember...
Obviously I want to keep all the good stuff that has been done by Victor but I don't know if the FreeDOS 'image' that is in UBCD3.4 is one that I could get hold of and customise for my needs...
Anyone 'been there and done that'???
Also - just a thought after typing the above - should I be looking at the Russian LZ-DOS option instead???

Hmm I'm not quite sure but the delays about choosing startup options in DOS should be somewhere in (FD)Config.sys, something like MenuDelay= or similar stuff ...
