Why not add multimedia feature ?

Maybe you can integrate GeexBox which is an open source (GPL) multmedia player. It's a live CD based on linux.

There also Movix wich is also a live CD base on linux.

Size of each package is about 20 Mb with all multimedia codecs.

Unlikely. I am sticking to tools which are useful for system diagnosis and
recovery for the UBCD.

A sound diagnostic may be handy in limited situations, but then having the drivers may be problematic. Have you tried using INSERT to test the audio?
