A competitor of yours - Hiren's Boot CD has Spinrite 6 on it. I prefer to use your CD, but love Spinrite...

Any Chance you could stick it on the next revision?

What is spinrite ? ^^
If it's commercial software, forget it. If it's freeware and pertinent, maybe it can get into UBCD someday... or you may follow the tutorials to customize UBCD for your own use.

Edit : after a little web search, it seems like this is a commercial data recovery program. No way it gets into the UBCD release.

If you have purchased a copy of spinrite from Gibson Research you can create a Spinrite floppy RawRead or ImageFloppy to create a spinrite.img file. then follow the "Customize UBCD4.0" instructions.

Not a difficult process, but if you have not done it before you may want to have a CD-RW to test with.

Becarful using Hirens Boot CD. I know someone that got into some very hot water because he used that CD on a Corporate PC to recover/repair a hard drive. They found out the software he used was not owned by the company and he was reprimanded and almost let go because of it
