I'll post updates of my (Explorer09's) modified XFPROT in this thread.

Changes in 2.4expl6:

• This version of Xfprot is built with GTK+ 3. Yes, I've ported it. There is still work to be done - many deprecated API calls not replaced yet. The code is still backward-compatible with GTK+ 2.18, though.
• Various configure script improvements.
• New Simplified Chinese (zh_CN) translation by me (Explorer09).
• Other minor fixes. See the changelog.

XFPROT requires F-Prot Antivirus version 6 or higher and GTK+ libraries version 2.18 or higher. (GTK+ 2.8 no longer works with my code, and I have no plan to make it backward-compatible.)

Download URL has a single character wrong (corrected).

I will preparing for UBCD V5.2.6. Should be done by this week or next.

@Victor:
I found a serious problem in my f-prot and xfprot packaging.

When they are unpacked in Parted Magic, they will change the ownership of some important directories like /usr and /etc, from root to user 1000. This might let some programs refuse to run because /usr does not belong to root!

I have now re-packaged f-prot and xfprot to fix the problem. Please re-download.
