In the official download page, the size (574MB) is currently replaced by a "-" symbol.
The current "p2p" and "older versions" respective left-side column say "ISO", but there is no mention about "torrent", which are what the p2p and "older versions" links in those left-side columns point to (Of course, not a big deal).

Since at this moment it is not included in the OP nor in the "history" page (a.k.a. changelog), I would like to mention that UBCD version 5.2.9 also has some tweaks to the ubcd2usb.cmd script. Mentioning it here might help as reference (as in, "in which version did the script change?") and it might also help for users to notice this change, just in case someone sees some unwanted consequence of the changes applied and looks for some clue about it.

Fixed!

This follows the same format as the main download. I didn't want to repeat the same instructions again, 'cos I figured folks who want an older version will know what they are doing.

While not critical...

Code: Select all

ubcd2iso.cmd
echo Requires: W2K/XP/W2K3/Vista/W2K8/W7 and UBCD extracted to local storage
and

Code: Select all

ubcd2usb.cmd
echo Requires: W2K/XP/W2K3/Vista/W2K8/W7 and an (optionally extracted) UBCD
Testing for Win8.1 64bit now...Let you know if it works as someone said they were having issues.
The above echo could be updated to "Windows 2000 and above (32/64bit)"? Or something of the sort?

Update: Works completely fine on win8.1 64bit. Not sure why the other guy had an issue unless he didnt check MD5 for an exact match.

Update 2: When running UBCD2USB with "/f" parameter, it names the UFD "UBCD528" instead of what it should be "UBCD529".

I read your post in that topic. I think the user had problems creating UBCD on a PC running UEFI, whereas your success was under a PC running plain old BIOS? The issue wasn't with 64-bit version or Windows, although originally he thought it was a problem related to Windows 8.

Arrghh, will make sure mistake does not repeat in next release.

Is the Grub4Dos menu suppose to have Parted Magic menu item? Cause its not listed in the main menu.
